My grandpa was released from the hospital 5 days after the accident and it doing well. He is still having a little pain but is back to driving and up to his old tricks! My grandma spent 2 weeks in the hospital in Kearney, NE. My Aunt Carol and grandpa stayed by her side and my parents visited on and off several times. She had knee surgery that she came through well but had a tough time coming out of anesthesia. She had some rough days but last Friday she was flown along with grandpa back to K.C. She is now on the rehab unit of North Kansas City Hospital and is enduring some tough rehab on her knee/leg. She can't place any weight on her broken leg so she has a big challenge ahead of her. We are just so happy that she is back in MO and doing much better. Kaden and I have been several times to visit and Kaden really seems to lift her spirits! I really appreciate all the phone calls, messages and prayers! I have relayed them all to my grandparents and they were so thankful.
